JOURNEYS
Small Group Trips for the Curious
We’ve seen firsthand how experiencing new things alongside others, whether loved ones, colleagues or those you’ve just met, can make the travel experience even more powerful. There’s a sense of security, knowing you’re safely held, that allows you to explore and connect more deeply with new places and new ideas.
That’s what journeys are for.
Upcoming Journeys
Essaouira, Morocco
April 2027
Morocco is a wonderful destination, accessible to Europe but a completely different world, the crossroads of so many cultures and ways of living. Morocco was the site of our first ever Family Gathering, and it’s a place we always love returning to.
This week will be spent on the coast, exploring crumbling kasbahs, vivid markets and some of the best waves in Africa. We’ll reconnect with old friends to hear new stories. We’ll eat well, swim and surf, learn and explore together.

Japan in Autumn has so much to offer, with cooling weather, the leaves change colour and harvest festivals are everywhere. Swells start to pick up and the hardest part is choosing how to spend your time and where to go. Join us for an experiential week that explores that uniquely Japanese balance of honouring the past and exploring new energy for a creative future. We’ll meet new and old friends, spend time in nature and learn a few things about what makes this country so unique.

Maasailand, Kenya
November 2027
Cohosted with the Dopoi Center
A safari in sub-Saharan Africa can be a complicated dream for those who, like us, value connection over transaction. The best way to experience some of nature’s most impressive creatures is to learn directly from the culture that has known them best since time began, the Maasai.
For these ten days we will be hosted at the Dopoi Center, an indigenous culture and research field station leading the development of Maasai cultural and economic sovereignty. Our hosts will introduce us in the way only they can to their land and culture, and to the legendary creatures they share it with. This is more than a unique way to experience the dream of encountering the creatures of the savanna. This is a doorway into the cultural home of the Maasai people and an exploration of the remarkable work being done by them to steward their community and their home. It’s a rare privilege to be welcomed in this way, and for the right traveller, a world-changing experience.
